This place has a stunning riverside view, the comfy suite had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The burger I had for dinner? Best I've ever tasted!
Felt at home instantly, no complaints whatsoever.

If you're bringing dogs, ensure they're comfortable with stairs due to the steep access to rooms.

The riverside setting provides a stunning view, with clean rooms and a friendly staff that genuinely cares about guests. Breakfast was freshly cooked and quite enjoyable. service during dining was frustratingly slow, which marred an otherwise pleasant experience. The bar area could use some modern updates to better match the charm of the surroundings.

great riverside walk and stunning nature views nearby
During my stay, I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful riverside views and the peaceful atmosphere, making my city strolls even more delightful. The staff were friendly, making me feel right at home. As a bonus, the hotel is just a short walk from Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and almost a 2 km walk to Hampton Court Palace, giving you plenty of options for sightseeing and relaxing in nature.

The staff provided a genuinely warm welcome, which made us feel at home. Our twin room came with new bedding and a well-stocked tea and coffee tray, which added a nice touch to our stay.
The hotel and pub seem dated, which might detract from some guests' experiences.

Had a fantastic group vacation with friends! We enjoyed exploring Chessington World of Adventures and took lovely walks along the river. The staff were super friendly, and we loved the delicious breakfast. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn't have a lift, but the staff helped with our luggage.
We did have a little trouble with the internet not working well in our room, but it didn't ruin our fun.

The scenic garden area for dining offers lovely views of the river, ideal for outdoor meals. The unique historic building adds charm, making your experience feel special.
The bar area looks quite tired and could use some updating, which dampens the overall ambiance. My room had dated decor and some rough-around-the-edges furniture, while the bathroom showed signs of wear that could benefit from a refresh. Wi-Fi was unreliable during my stay, making it tough to stay connected. Common areas had a certain clutter, and the breakfast experience felt a bit haphazard, with limited seating and availability when service was slow.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
